About Dr. Sumit Sawhney
Dr. Sumit Sawhney is a highly experienced hematologist-oncologist with 30 years in practice. He serves as the President of Oncology and Hematology Associates of West Broward and holds the position of Vice Chief of Staff at Northwest Medical Center. Dr. Sawhney is also a Staff Physician at University Hospital and Medical Center, Broward Health Coral Springs, and Florida Medical Center. A graduate of medical school in New Delhi, India with high honors, Dr. Sawhney completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago. His extensive research background includes serving as Principal Investigator in over 20 clinical studies.
